Thanks slick, everything is hooked up. although the car is a 1997 2.5 liter and the transmission from a 2000?

would that have caused the problem. The car ran perfect before I replaced the tranny. Could the TCM or PCM be at fault? The car starts right up but it doesn't have enough power to move.

Shouldn't, when you say the car doesn't have the power to move do you mean the engine bogs down and dies out or the engine revs but the car doesn't really move?
