1993 honda civic.... i give it a full tune up, checked all the
fuses(under the hood and dash), i get spark from wires, i get air,
i get fuel... battery is new... spark plug gap is correct ( engine
d16y8..so gap is .044)... and it still wont start...
My car wont start?
perhaps it's a problem with the alternator or the ignition it's self.
My car wont start?
the starter needs replacement

Reply:..it's elecrical... ignition, probably. Pull a plug wire and see if there's spark to the plug...if not, check the distributor inside ...
is there an elecrical 'attachment' on the distributor?.. if so, replace it and see if it fires up.
Reply:how is the fuel pressure, is you timing belt ok?
car engines work on intake, compression, ignition , exhaust
if everything is there it will run, so go back and check
do you have compression, fuel, ignition, etc
Reply:well maybe it is your starter. if there is a click then there is not enough power going to the starter. if theres no click then there is no power going to the starter. your engine should still turn over even if the specs are not correct.if the engine does not stay on then check the distributor. those are some ideas
Reply:an engine needs spark, fuel, and compression to run. is it out of time?
