Clonking sound cavalier?

I have a 97 cavalier z24 2.4 5spd when i drive it it sounds as if its thumping from the drivers side it has new axles and ball joint tie rods any thoughts at first i thought it was the transmission but it shifts fine and drives fine but it has a horrible sound when starting out and turning,,,,

is your belt loose? or maybe some metal is loose or rusted underneath your car

well it sounds like a clonk then id be guessing the axle is not right not much else it could be.... jack it up put it in drive listen and turn should be able to hear it might help to have someone help ya.... id bet money its gone out again or wasnt put in right... might be a bad tire to check that put in drive let off brake give no gas just let it roll what you feel if any shake or thump would be a bad tire or wheel.... id check the axle... back up turnning sharp should click or pop if bad
