Daewoo Lanos Tires?

I'm searching online for a tire for my 1999 Daewoo Lanos hatchback. I've never had to buy tires so i dont know much about them.. i do know that the size/model is P185/60R14. If the orginal tire is 14 inches, do i have to get 14'' tires? Or can i get 15" or 16"?
Daewoo Lanos Tires?
ok
Daewoo Lanos Tires?
your tire size depends on your rims , if you have 14' rims you have to go with 14' tires , get somthing witha high tred life and depending on your area all weather remember you get what you pay for
Reply:P185/60R14 is about all you can use... could go taller like 195 .....cant really go wider by much id stick with the 60 and you have to use the 14 you cant change that unless you change wheels.... dont buy the cheapest tire anyone sells but do ask about it.... best to go with the mid range price tire so if you say whats your cheapest tire then say what else you have you will get a better one.... dont make sense but it works..... you get what you pay for most offen so the higher the tire the longer it will last..... which in the long run will save you money.... think of it like this 50 dollar tire 10 to 20,000 miles...... 60 to 80 dollar tire 50,000 miles... always buy a name brand tire some thing that been a round like goodyear firestone Michelin..... you cant go wrong... shop around call three places you get better ideal where to go
Reply:Think about it for just a moment.

A P185/60R14 82H tire is going to have a 14-inch diameter hole in the middle to fit perfectly around that 14-inch diameter wheel on the car.

If you buy a tire with a 15 or 16-inch diameter hole in the middle how do you expect it to form an air seal around a 14-inch diameter wheel?
