My 2001 SLT 4x4 is stuck in 2H.?

I shifted past 4H into 4L while moving and ever since then I cannot get 4H or 4L. The indicator light flashes then returns to 2H.

That is because it is a GM product . It is a POS to begin with . GMC = Garage mans companion or Give me cash . They were fine until they started using electronics to do the work for them . Buy a Ford , at least their electronics work after 10 years. It is a faulty sensor problem on the trans or 4wd shifter . P.O.S. GM specialty . Repair code is S c.rap -it , now.
