Gas prices??

hey wat do u guys think will be the highest gas price will go up ??

where i live its at 4.50 right now

and what do u think will happen once it goes up to its max price??
Gas prices??
People will keep paying insane prices...

Oil companies will be finally be able to drill for the more harder to get at oil, because it is finally profitable...

Prices will stabilize at a much higer price than it is now.

Cars will become more fuel efficient.

The story will continue.

People will keep driving.

Europe pays almost $8.00 a gallon right now... I say it gets close to $20.00 before people truly attempt to find an alternative.

I payed $4.79 a gallon last time I filled up.
Gas prices??
I speculate a max of $4.75 national average for regular by the end of the summer before prices fall. I predict prices will not go below $3.75 ever again.
Reply:I think it'll be at least $5.00 per gallon by July 4th. and it will max out at about 7.00 by the end of the year. Many people will be forced to go on a diet, by pedaling their azzes all over town.
Reply:With all of the drilling going on now, I am confused about why the prices are so high. I personally think it has nothing to do with the amount being drilled. I think it has to do with the oil companies, those guys were given tax breaks by Bush and they made a profit of Billions of dollars with is insane! Because of the way the economy is going. I am currently living in a town that is all Oil field businesses and it is insanely busy but not as bad as a year ago. The oil is available with out having to destoy habitats, but the real question is why are we drilling all of this oil and why isnt it being put back to the economy to drop gas prices??? and it is fricken crazy that they are paying 130 + per barrel! this is nuts!!! I dont think the gas prices will go down at all over the next 3 years, if anything it will go higher.
Reply:i dont want to think about it

i hope all truck drivers will quit hauling stuff which will cause another depression which sounds bad, but in reality would lower the cost of fuel and other things in the long run
Reply:Oil should top out at $153 dollars a bbl. We still have a ways to go up I would say . We are at $138 a bbl now . Maybe gas will reach $7.50 a gallon. Also some where around the $153 a bbl price I would also expect the price of Oil to decline quite a bit before ramping up again. The bigger question is how much more can our economy withstand.
Reply:its almost over 4 bucks now where I'm at ,i think when it tops out we wont ever see it below 3 bucks again,i went through this back in the 70,s when it did it the first time, and it never went back to what it originally was, they kept it up some, this time i doubt we see it go back down below 3 bucks, god i hope im wrong on this one though ,but by judging what it done in the 70,s and what its doing now were heading in the same direction as we was then,if they get it to 5 bucks then keep it there for a while then drop it to 4 bucks we will think that's a break ,but in reality we will still be paying more for it in the long run, they did this in the 70,s and after they dropped the price of it some we all accepted it,like we will now,we have no choice though, and they know this, when it went back down in the 70,s we was glad to see it top off at 97 cents a gallon, but before that i was only paying around 27 cents a gallon for it, they still got the upper hand on us,lets hope it drops a lot this time, but i doubt that we will see it anytime soon, good luck.
Reply:max price?, whats the max price?, there is no max price!
