What is a microfiber rag used for when detailing a car?

so i bought this detail kit and it came with a microfiber cloth, i was just wondering what you use it for it seems like it would get really dirty really fast if you used it on anything dirty, is it for final detail after the cars washed???

Basically for drying the car, It will not leave any cloth residue like regular towels do.

dust mainly but you can use them for any thing really maybe not grease lol
Reply:They work great for waxing cars. They do not leave any visible scratches even on gloss black finishes. We use them for removing dust on finishes as well.
