What do i do about my car?

i drive a 2003 kia spectra 94000 miles and i love her but my check engine light came on and i went to the shop and they said there is nothing wrong with it.


but im not getting very good gas mileage


please help me!

That's impossible.





The check engine light is ON for a reason. Go to another shop or just take it to Autozone (or many other auto parts dealer) and have them scan it.





Eventually you will need to clear it one way or another because your inspection will NOT pass just because the light is on.

Reply:You went to the wrong shop! ALL shops scan the trouble codes, that will tell you exactly is wrong.
Reply:it could be your fuel injectors could need a tune up
Reply:if the check engine light is on, there is a problem. go back and get the report ( list of codes that the cpu spit out) if they dont have one, i would insist that they produce one, even if they have to hook the scanner to the car again.
