New ones are. Mazda 3 is good with gas, but it's too much of a mother's car for me, the way it drives. My old 1992 accord felt more fun to drive.





The old one are not reliable, stay away from them unless you get lucky. I'm a honda %26amp; bmw guy. Owned and currently own both. Great cars.

Reply:I don't know what indonev is talking about. All recent comparison tests (Motor Trend, Car and Driver, etc) rate the Mazda 3 MUCH higher in the "fun to drive" category than Honda, Toyota, or anything else in that segment. They even said Honda Civics took a step back in that department.





Late model Mazdas (like the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6) are as reliable as anything out there, and are generally rated higher in looks, features, driving experience, and fit and finish (how nice the interior is) than most other cars in their categories.





Gas mileage obviously varies by model and is easy to find if you look it up at Mazda's site.
