Car problems! help!?

I have no clue to whats going on with my car. It has problems starting every once in a while. When I first get in my car in the morning it will start fine but say I go to school for like 15 min. When i get back in my car and try to start it it just won't start but if I wait and hour or so it will start again. It turns over when I start it but it just won't fire up. I hate it because it makes it pretty unreliable. I don't know maybe its the battery or something. Someone told me I needed a new starter but i don't know for sure. Hopefully you guys can give me some answers.
Car problems! help!?
your question is pretty vague it could be a number of things take it to an autozone if you can they will do a free chragin system test for you and hopefully it will point you in the right direction
Car problems! help!?
Year? Make? Model? Engine Size?

No. If it was the battery it wouldn't turn over at all. No. If it was the starter it wouldn't turn over at all.
Reply:If the car cranks over but wont start then you do not have a problem with the battery or starter. What kind of car is it? could be ignition coil, fuel filter, fuel relay, fuel pump. I had a problem with a vehicle cranked and took long for it to start after it sat for a while. The fuel system is under pressure and the fuel injector was not holding the pressure and leaking into the engine causing it to flood the spark plugs. Throttle body type. good luck
Reply:Actually what you may need is a new solenoid located on your starter. Sometimes you can change the brushes in the starter too while changing the solenoid. brushes are pretty cheap to buy.
Reply:when you get back in it does it crank at the normal speed,or are you saying that it cranks normal but will not fire,or do you get nothing at all then after a few hours it fires up theses are all different not enough info
